new death cab

! so i have been listening to death cab for cutie's new album, narrow stairs, for the last 2 days & i am smitten. the melodies, feel of the music in my veins, and voice are intoxicating! i must say that in the recent years there are not many bands that have evoked much spark inside my brain. perhaps it is a factor of aging and not being bent on new music like i was when i was 17 and the pumpkins, nirvana, and radiohead were bulging with phenomenal tunes. but perhaps it is because music this good wasn't being made recently, except for a few one-hit wonders (which are great, but do not sustain the musical soul). i suppose it must be even harder for those growin up with zeppelin & hendrix...

so a huge thank you to you guys at death cab, for sticking with it, because you do it so good!
